Today, former Idaho Congressmen Richard Stallings and Larry LaRocco announced a statewide town hall tour to give Idahoans a voice at a time when their elected representatives refuse to listen. As Idaho’s Republican congressional delegation continues to avoid public town halls, Stallings and LaRocco are stepping up to provide voters with a platform to share their concerns, discuss challenges, and demand accountability from those in power.

In the coming weeks, Stallings and LaRocco will travel the state to meet directly with Idahoans and address pressing issues they face, including skyrocketing costs, growing economic uncertainty, and the rise of authoritarianism.

These Democratic-led town halls reinforce the Idaho Democratic Party’s commitment to organizing in every community and building a movement that unites working Idahoans from all backgrounds. The tour will also highlight the deep harm that Donald Trump and his billionaire allies are exacting on Idahoans.

Their first two scheduled town halls are scheduled as follows:

  • Pocatello Town Hall

  • Where: Liberty Hall, Pocatello
  • When: Friday, February 28, 3-5 p.m.
  • Idaho Falls Town Hall
  • Where: Eagle Rock Middle School
  • When: Saturday, March 1, 3-5 p.m.

Additional stops will be scheduled soon. Stallings and LaRocco will be available for interviews at each stop.
