Post Falls Democrats: Get Out The Vote
October 30 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MDT
It’s time to GET OUT THE VOTE, POST FALLS!
Join volunteers and local candidates for a final door knocking extravaganza! We’ll be knocking doors of known supporters to make sure they’re ready to cast their votes by November 3rd.
This is the most fun door knocking of the entire election season: no persuasion, just giving folks information on where to vote.
As a thank you for your help, you’ll receive a complimentary drink ticket as well as raffle tickets for a $50 gift card giveaway at the election night party at the Capones Ponderosa Golf course! The more doors you knock, the more raffle tickets you’ll receive, so sign up for as many shifts as you’re able!
First time door knocking? No problem! We’ll train you before sending you out. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a charged smartphone. We’ll take care of the rest.
What to expect:
- Register for one (or more) of the time blocks listed in the available shifts.
- Arrive at the Post Falls GOTV meeting location during the time block you sign up for.
- Pick up a list (about 40 doors) of known Democrats who need a reminder to vote in the midterms and election reminder sticky notes to leave behind on doors when no one answers. Want more than one list? Let the Post Falls organizer know!
- Head out to your list’s neighborhood and knock/leave stickies behind on the doors
- Come back to the meetup location during the arranged time to drop off any extra stickies/supplies you have. Can’t make it? Email the Post Falls organizer when you’ve completed your list(s). Your drink ticket and raffle tickets will be waiting for you at the KC Dems election night party at Capone’s Ponderosa Golf Course on November 3rd.
That’s it! Super easy and a great way to help us get folks to the polls.
