On Saturday, November 16, the Kootenai County Democrats are hosting a donation drive at Ramsey Park to benefit the food banks in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls. You can drop off non-perishable food items and household supplies at the south parking lot of Ramsey Park (near the Kroc Center) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Look for blue signs along Ramsey Road, guiding you to our white tent in the lot. The event will happen rain or shine, so we’d love to see you there, no matter the weather!

Here’s a list of much-needed items:

• Canned tuna and chicken
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Pasta and spaghetti sauce
• Cereal
• Toilet paper
• Laundry soap
• Pet food
