IDP 2021 Annual Conference

All Democrats are encouraged to join the IDP for our annual conference and meeting of the State Central Committee on November 13-14, 2021.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

All attendees must show proof of vaccination AND wear a facial covering for all indoor activities. The Idaho Democratic Party staff and the Riverside Hotel will employ all available precautions to keep attendees safe by promoting social distancing and handwashing.

EVENT DETAILS

This year, the Idaho Democratic Party’s annual meeting of the State Central Committee will accompany a full day of events, workshops, and trainings. After Party business in the morning, there will be a Legislative Luncheon held by the Idaho Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. Then, four trainings and workshops for candidates, activists, or local parties to gain the tools they need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2022.

In the evening, join Democratic leaders for a cocktail reception and banquet. All are encouraged to join us for this event. Keynote speaker Dan Price is the Founder and CEO of Gravity Payments. He has gained national recognition for basing his business on a revolutionary set of core values not typically seen in the workplace and Price’s commitment to fair wages has become a national case-study in corporate governance. At 26, he received the National SBA Young Entreprenuer of the Year award presented by President Barack Obama for achieving success in his business while affording a $70,000 minimum salary for each of his employees. The banquet will also feature a silent auction with items donated by local small businesses and Democrats, and remarks from Democratic leaders.

And before you head home, join the Idaho Democratic Women’s Caucus for their Annual Fall Breakfast with City Councilor Elaine Clegg. You won’t want to miss it!

REGISTRATION

You must register before November 8th to attend in-person or virtually.

LODGING

The Idaho Democratic Party has reserved a room block at the Riverside Hotel for out-of-town guests. Registrants may reserve reduced-rate hotel rooms by calling 208-343-1871. Supporter housing is also available. Email dakota@idahodems.org for more information about supporter housing.

VIRTUAL OPTIONS FOR SCC MEMBERS

Members of the State Central Committee who choose not to attend the conference in-person may elect for virtual options. The 9AM meeting of the SCC will be available virtually and voting members may cast their ballots remotely. The IDP Fall Banquet will also be streamed live. The remaining events, trainings, and workshops will not be available to virtual attendees.

FINANCIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

While admission fees and donations help IDP cover event costs and achieve our goals, we are committed to ensuring that ticket costs do not create barriers for anyone who wants to attend. If you are unable to attend for financial reasons, please email dakota@idahodems.org for accommodations.

By purchasing tickets you certify the following:

I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

I am at least eighteen years old.

I am not a federal contractor.

I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
