Help shape the future of the Idaho Democratic Party! From March 31 to April 30 counties across Idaho will hold in-person or virtual caucuses to select delegates to the 2022 Idaho Dems Convention.
County delegates will participate in the drafting and passage of the Idaho Democratic Party platform and resolutions during the state convention June 17-18 in Boise. There will also be events and other activities to participate in with other delegates. Find your County Caucus information below to participate in and/or run to become a delegate for your county.
NOTE: Those that would like to be elected as a delegate to the convention do not have to be present at the caucus but must still be elected as a delegate by the caucus attendees. In order to be considered a prospective-Delegate, you must fill out the following form to make their intention known. See the FAQ at the bottom of the page for additional details and information.

Why are we having a caucus? We will be having a County Delegate Selection Caucus in each county to elect Delegates to the state convention in Boise on June 17-18. The state party will be providing more information in the months and days leading up to the caucus. Does this caucus affect the primary? No. County Delegate Selection Caucuses are ONLY to elect delegates to the state convention. What happens at the State Convention? There will also be events and other activities to participate in with other delegates. Who can attend/vote at the caucus?All caucus voters must be registered Idaho voters and registered Democrats. How do I register to run for State Delegate?To register for the state caucuses by county use your counties mobilize link provided by IDP. Who can be a state delegate?Any person who is a registered Democrat in the state of Idaho and who resides in their delegate region at the time of selection. 17 year olds are allowed to participate as long as they will be eligible to vote by the November 2022 general election.
