Candidate for District 26 House Seat A

Rep. Ned Burns

About

I’m a 4th generation Idahoan, born and raised in Twin Falls. After college, I decided it was time to move closer to the mountains and spend more time hunting and skiing. Shortly after moving, I met an amazing woman named Sara. Fast forward 5 years — we got married and haven’t looked back since. We live in Bellevue with our pug Jimmy, where we remain active in our community. I’m an avid skier, hunter, fisherman, and recreational league hockey player.

After watching Sara serve our city on the Bellevue City Council, I stepped into public service myself. I served 2 years on the Bellevue Urban Renewal Board, then on to City Council before I was elected to serve as Mayor.

Having served our community at City Hall, I substituted for Representative Muffy Davis as we navigated the pandemic that left many at severe risk of contracting the virus. I was honored to be selected by the Governor as her replacement after she was appointed to the Blaine County Commission and looking forward to continuing to serve District 26.
