Unique Summer Internship Opportunity Available!

The Democratic Commissioners from the Idaho Redistricting Commission are accepting resumes for a unique summer internship with the Redistricting Commission.

As an opportunity that surfaces only once a decade, this internship program will offer experience with creating Congressional and Legislative district boundaries. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting Commissioners and staff with research, outreach, and mapping.

· Candidates must be comfortable working in a team setting, have a professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in public policy.
· Hours will fluctuate between full and part-time, and the position will end around the first week of September, but the intern’s schedule can be flexible.
· Experience working with Microsoft programs and/or GIS software a plus, but not mandatory.
