As Theodore Roosevelt once said, “We have fallen heirs to the most glorious heritage a people have ever received, and each one must do his part if we wish to show that the nation is worthy of its good fortune.”
It is not only our right to use Idaho public lands, but our responsibility to leave this legacy to future generations. Many of Idaho’s GOP politicians don’t value public lands at all. They even went so far as to demand that federal managers give public lands to the state. That shady idea would have transferred our best hunting and fishing areas to private parties: no more access.
Come to the Public Lands Rally on Thursday, February 12th. It will be held on the steps of the Idaho State Capitol in Boise from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. This rally is sponsored by Idaho Backcountry Hunters and Anglers.
If you need a ride, buses will be leaving Idaho Falls and Pocatello, just contact bus coordinator Greg McReynolds at 208-690-9504 for a ride.
RSVP and get more details here.
Our public lands are not for sale, come out and help protect Idaho’s great legacy!
