Dori Healey campaigned as a moderate but she has been anything but since taking office two years. Now seeking reelection, she wants us to ignore her extreme voting record.

From passing laws that criminalize doctors and punish women to supporting book bounties that threaten libraries, Dori Healey is going too far and taking away our freedoms. At the same time, she continues to vote against common-sense investments in our economic future like LAUNCH, scholarships that train young Idahoans for in-demand careers.

• Dori Healey voted to mandate criminal abortion investigations by withholding funding from local governments. This legislation came after the Boise City Council voted to limit city funds from being used to investigate abortions under Idaho’s near-total abortion ban.

• Dori Healey supported a law restricting some out-of-state travel for abortions.

• Dori Healey signed a loyalty oath to the Idaho Republican Party platform that calls for the criminalization of any abortion, even to save a patient’s life.

• In her last election, Dori Healey benefitted from thousands of dollars in political spending from out-of-state pro-voucher billionaires.

• Dori Healey opposed LAUNCH, a workforce grant for Idaho high school graduates to use toward in-demand career training.

• Dori Healey voted against the 2023 Medicaid budget, which resulted in $200 million in cuts to the program.

• Dori Healey voted against expanding access to birth control prescribed by providers and paid for by private insurance companies.

• Dori Healey endorsed Ryan Cole, the corrupt COVID profiteer, for the Central Health District board.

• “Our children and all of our livelihoods depend on who you appoint (to) the health board. Dr. Ryan Cole is the only logical option. His conservative beliefs are in alignment with our conservative county.”

• Dori Healey voted against anti-bullying legislation to notify the parents of children who are being bullied at school and offer resources.

• Dori Healey has voted to roll back legal protections for LGBTQ+ Idahoans on several occasions.

• Dori Healey voted for voter ID restrictions, which now prevent using Idaho-issued student photo IDs at the polls, making it harder for students to vote. This is a blatant attempt to silence the Boise State University students in her district.

• Dori Healey voted for a new law that criminalizes ballot delivery, preventing legally cast ballots from being counted.

• Dori Healey voted for book bounties that undermine our freedoms and put libraries across the state at risk for costly lawsuits.

• Dori Healey voted to override a gubernatorial veto of an even more extreme book bounty bill in 2023.

• Dori Healey voted to overturn commonsense protections for renters like requiring landlords to have a vacant property if they collect rental application fees.
