The Idaho Republican Party wants to usurp federal law and ban same-sex marriage in Idaho. They believe Idaho should immediately "nullify any congressional act, federal mandate, or court opinion that is contrary to traditional marriage." Article XIV, Section 2

Do you believe the State of Idaho should immediately defy federal court rulings and ban all same-sex marriage in the state of Idaho?

Article XIV, Section 3 of the Idaho Republican Party Platform states, "Abortion is murder from the moment of fertilization . . . regardless of circumstance of conception, including persons conceived in rape and incest. . . We support the criminalization of all murders by abortion."

Do you believe there should be a total ban on abortions with no exceptions for rape, incest, or life of the mother?

Those who follow the Republican Platform want to weaken Social Security. In Article 1, Section 1, they call for the privatization of Social Security.

Even though Medicaid Expansion was approved by Idaho voters on the ballot in 2018, the Idaho Republican Party Platform calls for its repeal. They also call for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act in its entirely, which would have dire consequences for young people and those with pre-existing conditions. Article XIII, Section 2

Do you think we should end health coverage for pre-existing conditions, that young adults should NOT be allowed to stay on their parent plan through 26 y/o, and repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety, resulting in a loss of coverage for ~160,000 Idahoans?

Article X of calls for the disposal of federal public land, our treasured National Forests and BLM land. They also call for the repeal of protected roadless wilderness areas.

Do you believe we should take over all federal public lands and end federal wilderness protections, including those for roadless wilderness areas?
