Idaho Democratic Congressman Walt Minnick earned the highest grade of “A” for his work on behalf of America’s veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families. The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is the foremost non-profit, non-partisan organization working on issues including disability reform, veterans’ affairs budgets, employment and education benefits for veterans, homelessness issues, health care and other issues.
Republicans Mike Crapo, Jim Risch and Mike Simpson received failing grades of “D” from IAVA for their votes on the same issues. They were among about 150 lawmakers receiving “Ds” and “Fs”.
Actions speak louder than words.
